Nick is a New York State mental health counselor (MHC-LP) who specializes in working with people who proclaim a connection with their religious beliefs, have experienced religion-based trauma, or who are sorting through their own beliefs and the way it intersects with their identity and mental health. With a deep appreciation for the connection between spiritual well-being and mental health, Nick has made it his mission to support clients who are navigating their faith into their healing journey.

Before becoming a counselor, Nick spent ten years serving as a minister, where he witnessed firsthand how often members of faith communities face unique challenges that are overlooked or misunderstood in traditional mental health care. Motivated by a desire to bridge this gap, he transitioned to counseling to provide compassionate, nonjudgmental care tailored to those navigating both spiritual and emotional struggles.

Nick’s approach is grounded in empathy, relational warmth, and respect for the individual beliefs of each client. Whether working through anxiety, grief, or life transitions, Nick helps clients find strength in their faith while fostering hope and resilience in every session.

Nick will begin accepting new clients for online counseling sessions soon.
